Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Remove the turbocharger.

Disconnect the CKP sensor electrical connector.

Remove the CKP sensor blanking cover.

:   The CKP sensor retaining bolt should not be removed from the CKP sensor. Remove the CKP sensor.   Fully loosen the CKP sensor retaining bolt.

: Install the CKP sensor correctly into the housing. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the CKP sensor. To install, reverse the removal procedure.   Tighten the CKP sensor bolt to 5 Nm (4 lb.ft)
